Opry and Ryman car service
An hourly booking covers the whole evening with one chauffeur: dinner, the venue and the ride home, with the pickup point agreed before the show so nobody is searching for the car in the crowd afterward. Couples and small groups ride in an Escalade, Denali or Navigator, six passengers, at $125 per hour; groups of up to 14 take a Sprinter at $175 to $195 per hour.

Two venues, two addresses
The Grand Ole Opry performs at two different addresses, and visitors mix them up constantly. The Opry House sits in Music Valley next to Gaylord Opryland, about nine miles northeast of downtown. The Ryman Auditorium, the Opry’s winter home and its spiritual one, is on Fifth Avenue downtown, a block from Broadway. Check your ticket before you plan anything else about the evening.
The Ryman
If your show is at the Ryman you probably do not need a vehicle at all for the venue itself. It is a two minute walk from Broadway and inside the walkable core for anyone staying in a downtown hotel. What you may want is a ride in from outside downtown, and a ride home afterward: the Ryman empties onto streets that are already busy with Broadway traffic, and on a weekend night rideshare prices climb right after the show.
If you are coming from Murfreesboro, Franklin, Brentwood, Hendersonville or Mt. Juliet, a round trip booked hourly means you can have dinner downtown first and not think about parking at all.
The Grand Ole Opry House
Music Valley is not walkable to anything except the resort and a strip of shops. Everyone needs a ride. From downtown it is twenty minutes; from BNA twelve to fifteen; from Gaylord Opryland it is across the car park.
The Opry House has its own parking, and on a sold-out night leaving it takes a while. The practical move is the same one that works at every venue in the city: agree a pickup point with your chauffeur before the show rather than trying to find each other in a moving crowd afterward.
Timing
Doors usually open an hour before the show. For the Opry House, plan to be dropped off thirty to forty minutes before the start; there is a shop and a bar, and the queue at the doors takes time on a full night. For the Ryman, twenty minutes is enough since you are already downtown.
Making an evening of it
The most common shape is dinner downtown then the Ryman, or dinner at the resort then the Opry House. An hourly booking covers the whole evening with one chauffeur: dinner, the venue, and home. That is usually four or five hours, and for a group it costs less per person than separate rides at surge prices.
Backstage tours and daytime visits
Both venues run daytime tours, which are worth doing and are much easier logistically than a show night. A daytime visit to the Opry House pairs well with the resort, and a Ryman tour slots into a downtown walking day without any transportation at all.
Rates
Hourly bookings are $95 to $125 per hour for SUVs and $175 to $195 for 14 passenger Sprinter vans. Point-to-point trips are quoted flat when you book, and the price does not change after the show.
